Hot rolling of nonwoven fabric is exposed to high temperatures of 150–230 °C for a long time. Conventional carbon steel rollers are prone to thermal deformation and dents, while alloy substrate rollers improve stability under high temperature conditions. The use of seamless 38CrMoAl and 48CrMo alloy tubing and mid-frequency integral hardening give these rollers excellent resistance to creep at high temperatures, prevent bending during long-term high-pressure operation, and maintain dimensional stability over time.
The internal spiral heat conduction channel ensures smooth circulation, while the temperature difference of the roller surface is controlled within ±1 °C, which leads to uniform heating of the fabric and eliminates local hot melt defects. The surface is plated with hard chrome to improve high temperature oxidation resistance, wear resistance and scratch resistance. CNC grinding machines ensure strict dimensional and positional tolerance control, and the rollers are factory dynamically balanced tested, making them suitable for hot spunbond, meltblown and hydroentrulli rolling processes. The plant has its own complete heat treatment line with automated production on CNC machines, which allows the production of rollers of non-standard widths and under different temperature conditions, extending the roller replacement cycle.
